The simple descriptions of the actions by an expert and the part-whole demonstrations followed by practice are extremely effective. To be able to see the music behind the video might be agreat way to also learn to read the music you're playing.  This site gets high marks from me as this I could do! I like how he explains the chords you are playing and the video focuses on the fingering (just the neck of the guitar).  When you are focusing on the strum pattern, the screen is split between the two hands.  There really is no extraneous info and it would be very helpful to learn to play the guitar.
